Are you a student looking to broaden your horizons and gain a new perspective? Studying abroad is an excellent way to do just that. Post Falls, Idaho offers a variety of opportunities for students to explore the world and participate in exchange programs. Idaho State University (ISU) provides an online system to help students plan for future study abroad programs. This system can be used to find out what courses are offered in a particular discipline by showing what other ISU students have taken in the past.
Before applying, students must complete Study Abroad 101, a three-part video series that helps them understand the process. ISU students can also take advantage of the more than 165 participating colleges and universities in the United States, its territories, and Canada. Fall Early Decision allows students to apply for a fall semester abroad a full year in advance during the previous fall semester. In order for students to successfully transfer their credits to ISU, all courses must be submitted to GW CATS with appropriate approvals. ISU encourages students to take an active role in this process so that they are well informed in their decisions and can begin to understand their program and the country in which they will live and study. ISU offers incoming students the chance to apply for fall and academic year programs beginning in April, while spring applicants can apply as early as November.
With so many options available, there is something for everyone looking to explore the world through studying abroad.
